The Annual Coordination Meeting for 2014 was held on 4-6 November 2014 (3 full day meeting). The venue of the meeting was the Palazzo Ateneo - Sala degli Affreschi, located in the center of Bari, Italy. The meeting was attended by 64 scientists from the consortium and 7 invited participants.

TRANSPORTATION TO Palazzo Ateneo
All the hotels (except Villa Romanazzi Carducci) are located in the city center, very close to the meeting place Salone degli Affreschi, Palazzo Ateneo, University of Bari Aldo Moro (see Photo 1).
MEALS
Coffee breaks will be offered by UNIBA in the morning (11:00-11:30) and afternoon (15:30-17:00), outside the meeting room “Salone degli Affreschi” in Palazzo Ateneo.
During both days, lunch will be offered at the Palazzo Ateneo (~13:00-14:00). The cost of the lunch is 20 euro per person per day, and should be paid by each participant at the site. Receipts for the cost of the lunches will be provided on request.
Dinner will be given at the evening of 4th (Tuesday at 20:00) at the restaurant La Pignata (Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II, 173) in Bari, which is within walking distance from the hotels and meeting location (Photo 2). Colleagues from UNIBA will lead you to the restaurant. Please be at the reception of your hotel no later than 19:45 to follow them to the restaurant.
PS. It is strongly advised to avoid exposing jewelry, wallets or valuables when walking in the city center, especially in the old town!!!
VISIT of Eataly
During the third day (Thursday 6 November), there will be a visit to Eataly, where one can find thematic restaurants and food shops. A bus will wait for us at 19.30 outside the University.
HOTELS
Grand Hotel Leon D’oro is in piazza Aldo Moro, in front of the central station.
Hotel Moderno, Hotel Victor and Hotel Giulia are also very close to Piazza Aldo Moro.
Hotel Villa Romanazzi Carducci is about 10 min walking from the station (via Capruzzi, on the opposite side of Piazza Aldo Moro.
How to go from the airport to the city center/hotels
a) Take a taxi (about 15 km; flat price on request (PLEASE ASK FOR THAT TO THE TAXI DRIVER IN ADVANCE!!!) around 25 euros, extra cost on Sunday or night);
b) Take a TEMPESTA BUS COMPANY to Bari Central Station – it takes about 30 min. Bus stop is in front of the airport arrival exit
c) Take a train to Bari Central Station – it takes about 15 min. Train station is on the left of the airport arrival exit
PLEASE AVOID TAKING AMTAB City Bus n. 16 !!!!!!!
